About me

Hi, I'm Danny Leung. This is a beta version of my personal website built from what I would like to share online. I share my research, resources, and some of my teaching materials made throughout my academic life in this website.

I work on atmospheric chemistry and aerosol modeling. I work on the emission, transport, deposition, and chemistry of different aerosol species, including desert dust, particulate nitrate, particulate sulfate, and pollen. I mostly use the Community Earth System Model (CESM), which is developed and maintained by the NSF NCAR.

During my free time, I like to play the piano and do Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu.

A layman introduction of my work on how weather is related to air quality. This is how I talk research to my friends.

Education

Teaching materials

I gather a collection of teaching materials, including lectures and workshops (with codes) on atmospheric science as well as other subjects here.
